Who Am I
Hi, I’m Alisha Heath, LPCC.
Im a Clinical Mental Health Counselor who is passionate about helping people heal, grow, and reconnect with their purpose. My approach to counseling is compassionate, practical, and rooted in the belief that every person can change and move toward a healthier life.
I earned a masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and completed extensive clinical training working with individuals experiencing relationship challenges, trauma, behavioral issues, and life transitions. During my internship, I worked with court-mandated clients, gaining experience helping individuals take accountability, develop healthier behaviors, and rebuild their lives.
My counseling approach integrates evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and person-centered counseling, while also recognizing the importance of personal values and faith in the healing process.
As a Christian Counselor, I welcome clients who want to incorporate faith into therapy, while also respecting each person’s individual beliefs and background.
Outside of counseling I am a wife, mother, and someone who understands firsthand that life can bring unexpected challenges. My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, supported, and empowered to move forward.
Healing is possible, and you don’t have to navigate it alone.
